Urban Air Market - Hayes Valley

Last week I went to Urban Air Market in Hayes Valley for the first time. It featured over 150 independent fashion designers, but accessories definitely ran this party. There were so many options, so much originality, and we wouldn't be in San Francisco if this market wasn't full of cleverness. I didn't go looking for anything in specific, but I left with the perfect earrings made out of replicas of discontinued muni tokens and a new magical piece of art for my room. The next Urban Air Market event will take place on Oct 12th in the Lower Haight. It is a free event and there are a plenty of delicious food trucks to keep you busy munching! The best part about this event is that participating designers are selected based not only on their designs and quality, but their method of sustainability as well. It's always important to support events that are trying to help fashion go in the right direction. Check it out if you're free! At the very least, you get a nice day out in the city.
